Chap. 414.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 319 of the Code of
Virginia. [H B 385]
Approved March 24, 1922.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec-
tion three hundred and nineteen of the Code of Virginia be amended
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Sec. 319. The governor's staff.—The staff of the governor and
commander-in-chief shall consist of thirty aides-de-camp and one
chaplain to be appointed by the governor, each with the rank of
colonel, but no expense arising in connection with the appointments
made hereunder shall be paid out of any State, military or contingent
funds. | |

2. Am emergency existing, this act shall be in force from its
passage.
