Chap. 38.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 2131 of the Code of Virgin

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That sec
tion two thousand one hundred and thirty-one of the Code of Virgin1
be amended and re-enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 2131. Number plate—Number plates in duplicate shall als
be delivered to the applicant by the secretary of the Commonwealtt
upon which the number assigned shall be painted in arabic numeral
of a suitable size to be determined by the secretary of the Common
wealth, followed by the letters “Va.”, and in figures the year fo
which issued, and such plates shall always be in evidence upon th:
front and rear of the machines, and view of:same shall not be obscurec
by dirt, grease, bumper, tire, tireholder or any other substance o
object.
