Chap. 308.—An ACT Providing for the Payment of One Thousand Dullars
to James Lyons for Professional Services.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the auditor of public accounts be and he is hereby authorized
and required to issue his warrant on treasury for the sum of
one thousand dollars, payable out of any moneys therein, not
otherwise ap ronriated, in favor of James Lyons, of the city
of Richmond, for services heretofore rendered in going to
Washington and arguing in the supreme court the cases of
Sally Anderson, Caesar Griffin, and Jeter Phillips, and for all
professional services hereafter to be rendered in arguing the
case of Jeter Phillips in the United States district court of
Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
