Chap. 206.—An ACT to authorize the district road board of Scott magisterial
district, Fauquier county, Virginia, to pay off and discharge certain certi-
ficates of indebtedness issued by it December 15, 1916, in order to borrow
money to resurface and otherwise improve the macadam road in said
district, from The Plains to Middleburg. {[H B 237]

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
district road board for Scott magisterial district in the county of
Fauquier, is hereby authorized and empowered to pay off and discharge
certain certificates of indebtedness issued by the said road board on
December the fifteenth, nineteen hundred and sixteen, in order to
borrow money with which to re-surface and otherwise improve the
macadam road from The Plains to Middleburg, in said district and
county, and to pay the said certificates of indebtedness from the
district levies made and to be made, and. the same to be paid by the
said road board out of said district levies at such time or times as
they, in their judgment, may determine, the said certificates being
issued to and now held by residents of Fauquier and Loudoun, the
funds derived therefrom having been exclusively used for the re-
surfacing and improving of the said highway.
