Chap. 42.—An ACT authorizing and empowering the board of supervisors
of Smyth county to invest the sinking fund of said county in bonds

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the board of supervisors of Smyth county be, and they are here-
by, authorized and empowered to invest the sinking fund of said
county in United States government bonds.
