CHAP. 135.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Gloucester
county to lease or rent out certain lands at Gloucester Point, and to
validate certain leases heretofore made. (H. B. 282.)

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
he board of supervisors of Gloucester county, be, and they are
nereby, authorized to lease or rent out certain lands at Glou-
ester Point, for periods not exceeding twenty-five years, to-wit,
ll or any part of the seven acres, more or less, there situate. he-
onging to the said county, not needed for wharf or public land-
ng purposes, which said leasing or renting shall be effected as
ales are required to be in sub-section one of section eight hun-
ired and thirty-four of the Code of Virginia; previded, the said
yard, in its discretion, may lease or rent in a different manner,
yy an order prescribing the manner entered thirty davs before
iny such lease or rental contract is entered into, which order
hall have to be by a unanimous recorded vote of the whole
yard, and any leases or rental contracts heretofore entered
nto by the said board are hereby validated.
