1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
an act approved February nineteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-
six, entitled an act to constitute capitation tax a lien upon real
estate owned by the person at the time such capitation tax was as-
sessed, as amended by an act approved December third, nineteen
hundred and three, and designated in Pollard’s code, as section six
hundred and thirty-six-a, be, and the same is hereby, repealed as
to capitation taxes, both heretofore and hereafter assessed.
