1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, Tha!
James A. Fenwick, of King George county, and he is herebi
permitted to erect a wharf upon his land at Little Ferry, in saic
: county, upon the site of the present wharf thereon, and extending
into Machodoc creek.
. 2 Said wharf shall not interfere with the navigation of the
' said creek, and shall be subject to all of the laws of the Common-
. wealth, relating to wharves, and the wharfage charged for the use
- thereof shall be no greater than that charged at the other wharves
_ upon the Potomac river and its tributaries.
8. There being an immediate need of said wharf to facilitate
. shipping, to meet said emergency, this act shall be in force from
