Chap. 303.—An ACT authorizing the council of the town of Gretna in the
county of Pittsylvania to use and dispose of the net profits derived from
the dispensary in said town. (H B 261)
Approved March 16, 1918.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
town council of the town of Gretna in the county of Pittsylvania
be and is authorized and empowered to dispose of the net profits
derived from the dispensary lately operated in said town as follows
to-wit: one-eighth to the State of Virginia; the residue for streets,
lights, school purposes and general improvements of said town.
2. All acts and parts of acts in conflict with this act are hereby
repealed.
3. An emergency existing by reason of needed improvements in
said town, this act shall take effect upon its passage.
