1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
board of supervisors of Culpeper county, Virginia, be. and is her eby
authorized and empowered, in its discretion, to annually Include in
the Jevy upon the property and lawful subjects of taxation in the
everal magisterial districts of Culpeper county, Virginia. a. sufii-
cient tax to raise and create a sufficient special sinking fund for
the purpose, and to be used for resurfacing the macadamized roads
in said several magisterial districts in the county of Culpeper.

2. An emergency existing by reason of the urgent need of money
for the resurfacing of said roads, this act shall be in force from
ifs passage.
