Chap. 105.—An ACT to authorize and empower John Earle, W. B. Brown,
R. Lee Sowers, A. J. Brown and M. C. Richardson, Jr., their successors
and assigns, to construct, maintain and operate a public ferry across
the Shenandoah river, at or near Morgan’s Ford in Cedarville magis-
terial district, in the county of Warren, Virginia. (H. B. 146)

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That John Earle,
W. B. Brown, R. Lee Sowers, A. J. Brown and M. C. Richardson, Jr.,
their successors and assigns, be, and they are hereby authorized and’ em-
powered to establish a public ferry across Shenandoah river, at some con-
venient point at or near Morgan’s Ford, in Cedarville magisterial] district,
in the county of Warren; and they are hereby authorized and empowered
to have said ferry run under such restriction and in such a manner as
they, the above mentioned persons, may from time to time determine.
It being desirable to provide ferry convenience in the community,
an emergency is declared to exist, and this act shall be in force from
its passage.
