Chap. 190.—An ACT defining the territorial jurisdiction of the hustings
court of the city of Richmond, part II, as a court of probate and reg-
istry. (H. B. 509.)
Approved March 21, 1914.
Whereas, since the consolidation of the cities of Richmond and
Manchester, heretofore effected according to law, and since the
retention and continuance of the court formerly known as the cor-
poration or hustings court of the city of Manchester under the name
of the hustings court of the city of Richmond, part two, a doubt
exists as to the territorial jurisdiction of said court as a court of
probate and registry; now, therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the territorial jurisdiction of the hustings court of the city of Rich-
mond, part two, as a court of probate and registry, shall extend to
and include only that part of said consolidated city of Richmond
heretofore or hereafter lying south of the southern boundary of said
city of Richmond prior to said consolidation.
2. That the jurisdiction of the said court otherwise shall remain
as now established by law.
