Chap. 129.—An ACT to amend and re-enact sub-section 2 of section 2070-a of
the Code of Virginia, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved
March 16, 1910, entitled an act to amend and re-enact subsection 2 of
section 2070-a and section 2079 of the Code of Virginia, as amended and
re-enacted by an act approved May 14, 1903, entitled an act to amend
and re-enact chapter 95 of the Code of Virginia, in relation to the pre-
servation of certain birds and animals, and to prevent unlawful hunting,
and to repeal certain sections of the Code, et cetera, as further amended
and re-enacted as to sub-section 2 of section 2070-a, by an act approved
March 14, 1904, as further amended and re-enacted as to section 2070-a
by an act approved March 15, 1906, and as further amended and re-
enacted by an act approved March 11, 1908, as far as the same applies
to the counties of Surry and Prince George. (H. B. 462.)

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That,
sub-section two of section two thousand and seventy-a, of the Code
of Virginia, as amended and re-enacted by an act approved May
fourteenth, nineteen hundred and three, entitled an act to amend
and re-enact chapter ninety-five of the Code of. Virginia, in rela-
tion to the preservation of certain birds and animals, and to pre-
vent unlawful hunting, and to repeal certain sections of the Code,
et cetera, as further amended and re-enacted as to sub-section two
of section two thousand and seventy-a by an act approved March
fourteenth, nineteen hundred and four, as further amended and re-
enacted as to section two thousand and seventy-a by an act approved
March fifteenth, nineteen hundred and six, as further amended by
an act approved March eleventh, nineteen hundred and eight, as
further amended by an act approved March sixteenth, nineteen hun- |
dred and ten, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows, in
so far as said acts apply to or affect the counties of Surry and Prince
(ceorge.
Sec. 2070-a. That it shall be unlawful for any person to hunt,
chase or capture or buy, offer for sale or have in possession
any wild deer, between January first and October first, or to track
or hunt them in the snow: provided, this shall not interfere as to
laws now governing the boards of supervisors in the several coun-
ties in this State. But nothing in this act shall alter, affect, or
apply to any counties in this Commonwealth save those of Surry and
Prince George.
2. All acts or parts of acts inconsistent or in conflict with this
act are hereby repealed.
