Chap. 115.—An ACT authorizing the gove'nor to place men suffering from
tuberculosis, sentenced to jail for 5 years and over, in the tuberculosis
hospital at the State farm. (H. B. 336.)
Approved March 16, 1914.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the governor, in his discretion, be, and is, hereby authorized to
place in the tuberculosis hospital at the State farm men serving
sentence in jail of five years and over, who develop pulmonary
tuberculosis.
2. An emergency existing on account of a prisoner who has
tuberculosis in jail, this bill shall be in force from its passage.
