Chap. 290.—An ACT to authorize the district school board of Eastville school
district, in Northampton county, to borrow money for the purpose of pro-
viding a suitable school building in that district, and to provide for the
payment of the amount so borrowed.

Approved March 15, 1906.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the school
ard of the Eastville school district, in Northampton county, may borrow
1ot exceeding the sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) for the purpose
f buying or erecting and furnishing a suitable school building in that
listrict.

2. The said board shall issue its bond or bonds for the money borrowed,
vavable at such time or times as may be agreed upon, not exceeding
en years after their issue, bearing interest not exceeding the
egal rate, and payable annually or semi-annually, as agreed upon. Such
ond or bonds shall be signed by the chairman and attested by the clerk
f the said board, and shall be countersigned by the chairman of the
oard of supervisors of said county, sealed with the county seal, and at-
ested by the county clerk.
