Chap. 21.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 1 of an act entitled an
act to regulate and restrict the shooting and to prevent the destruction
of wild fowl in the waters of Back Bay and its tributaries, in the county
of Princess Anne, approved March 8, 1902.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section one
f an act entitled an act to regulate and restrict the shooting and to pre-
ent the destruction of wild fowl in the waters of Back Bay and its tribu-
aries, in the county of Princess Anne, approved March eighth, nineteen
undred and two, be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall
jot be lawful for any person to shoot at or kill wild fowl in the waters
f Back Bay or its tributaries, in the county of Princess Anne, cither
nor from the land, marshes, and shore, or on or from the waters thereof,
ww the aid of floats, batteries, sink boxes, blinds, points, or in any other
vay, or by any other means, from sunset to sunrise of the succeeding day,
t to leave any landing or mooring for the purpose of shooting or hunt-
ng until sunrise; and all decoys, floats, batteries, blinds, sink boxes, or
other devices, floating or stationary, shall be taken up at sunset and the
carried ashore each day. Nor shall any person shoot at or kill wild fow
except from the land or from batteries, sink boxes, points or blinds in th
said waters thereof: provided, however, that any person who may hav
crippled ducks, geese or swan over his decoys may reshoot and captur
such game from boats immediately after same shall have been shot down
Nor shall any person shoot at or kill wild fowl on Wednesday and Satur
day of each and every week either on or from the land or on or from th
said waters of Back Bay or its tributaries.
2. This act shall, on account of an emergency existing, be in fore
from its passage.
