1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the hoard
of supervisors of the county of Isle of Wight be, and they are hereby, em-
powered, in their discretion, out of the general county levy of said
county, to apply and expend annually a sum not exceeding one hundred
and fifty dollars in cach year towards the payment of the rent of the
mory of company H, seventy-first regiment of infantry, Virginia volun-
cers, or otherwise towards the assistance and maintenance of the said
ompany.
