Chap. 85.—An ACT to empower any corporation, its agents, conductors, or em-
ployees, operating in this State sleeping, dining, palace, parlor, chair, or com-
partment cars on the railroads in this State, to reject and refuse admittance to
any and all persons to enter into and to ride in such sleeping, dining, palace,
parlor, chair, or compartment cars, when in the discretion of such corporation,
its agents and conductors, it may be advisable to do so.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That any cor-
poration, its agents, conductors, or employees, operating in this State
sleeping, dining, palace, or compartment cars on the railroads in this
State be, and they are hereby, empowered to reject and to refuse admit-
tance to any and all persons to enter into and ride in such sleeping,
dining, palace, parlor, chair, or compartment cars, when in the discretion
of such corporation, its conductors, agents, or employees, it may be ad-
visable to do so.
