1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the third
section of an act entitled an act to amend and re-enact the
act entitled an act amending the charter of the town of Dan-
ville, passed March fourth, eighteen hundred and fifty-four.
and incorporating into one all acts amendatory thereof.
passed December fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
be amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
“§3. There shall continue to be held in the town of Danville,
twice in cach vear, a circuit court for said town, the jarisdic-
tion whereof shall extend to all cases arising within the cor-
porate limits of said town, and for one mile beyond the limits
of the same, over which the circuit court of the county of
Pittsylvania has heretofore had jurisdiction; and the said
court: shall be held on the tenth day of Mareh and the tenth
day of August, by the judge of the fourth judicial distiet”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
