Whereas, If appears that a coupon bond, marked ten thou
sand and twenty-eight, for the ‘sum of one thousand dollars.
issued by this commonwealth on the first day of July, eit
teen hundred and fifty-four, under and by virtne of the at-
thority ofan act of the general assembly, passed on the twenty
fitth day of May, eg ohteen hundred and fifty-tw o, authorizing
the issue of coupon bonds, was not signed. at the time of 1s
issue by the second auditor of the commonwealth, as required
by the said act of the twenty-fifth day of May, eighteen hun-
dred and fifty-two: Therefore,
1. Be it enacted by the cencral 2 assembly, That the said
coupon bond, numbered ten thousand and twenty- eicht, be
and the same is hereby recownized and declared to be as valid
and binding upon thts commonwealth as thonch it had beco
signed by the said second auditor,
2. ‘This act shall be in force trom its passage,
