Chap. 88.—An ACT to enable the Union Manufacturing Company of
Richmohd to Borrow Money. .
Passed January 21, 1867.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the Union
manufacturing company of Richmond be and the same is
hereby authorized to borrow money on the security of its
property, if required, to an amount not exceeding thirty
thousand dollars, and at such rate ‘of interest as may be
agreed upon without regard to the rate now prescribed by
law, or the provisions of the thirty-fourth section of chapter
fifty-seven of the Code of Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
