Chap. 34.—An ACT authorizing the payment of Commissions to Baring
Brothers & Co., of London, England, as Agents of the State for paying
Interest on Public Debt.

Passed December 20, 1866.

1. Beit enacted by the general assembly, That the auditor
of public accounts be and is hereby authorized and directed
to issue his warrant*on the treasurer for the sum of four hun-
dred and thirty-nine pounds, eight shillings and four pence,
sterling, with interes®hereon from the thirtieth day of De-
cember, eighteen hundred and sixty-five, to the first proximo,
in favor of Messieurs Baring Brothergggd Company, of Lon-
don, England, on account of commiss due them as agents
of the state of ‘Virginia for paying the interest on the public
debt. _ :

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
