Chap. 63.—An ACT to provide for the payment of certain officers and employees
of the senate and house of delegates between the Ist day of January, 1903, and
the 6th day of February, 1903, inclusive.
Approved February 12, 1903.
Whereas, no provision has been made for the compensation of the fol-
lowing named officers and employees of the senate and house of delegates
between the first day of January. nineteen hundred and three, and the
sixth day of February. ninetecn hundred and three, both inclusive:
1. Now, therefore, be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia,
That the clerk of the senate he, and he is he reby, authorized to draw his
warrant upon the auditor of pul lie accounts in favor of the offieers and
emplovees of the senate of Virginia next hereinafter named for the
amounts set opposite their names, respectively, Ge wit: T. A. Lynch, first
assistant clerk, four dollars and fifty cents per day for thirty-seven days—
one hundred and sixty-six dollars and fift ty cents; IH. C. Mann. journal
clerk, four dollars per day for thirty-seven ‘days—one hundred and fortv-

seven davs—one hundred and forty-eight dollars: G. If. Wilhams, com-

said warrants of said clerks of the senate and house of delegates, re-
spectively, to express upon their face that said amount named therein is
accepted and received by the officer or emplovee named therein in full
pavinent of any and all claims whatsoever as such officer or emplovee upen
the Commonwealth of Virginia up to and including the sixth dav of Feb-
ruary, nineteen hundred and three. .
Astun sufficient for the above purpose is hereby appropriated out of
any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage.
