Chap. 295.—An ACT Declaring Certain Portions of Banister river a Law-
ful Fence.
Passed March 2, 1997.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Banister
river, in the county of Pittsylvania, shall be a lawful fence
from the upper line of James M. Whittle, on the said river,
to the confluence of* Big Clerrystone creek with said river,
as to the proprietors and occupants of lands on said river be-
tween said points. .
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
