Chap. 275.—An ACT to amend and re-enact. an act approved January 26, 1903, en-
titled an act to allow the board of supervisors of the county of Campbell to pur-
chase the Lynchburg and Campbell Courthouse turnpike, and to operate the
same as a turnpike, or in its discretion convert it into a public road, allowing
said board out of the county levy to maintain said read as a public road.

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That chapter
fort. four of the acts of nineteen hundred and two-nineteon hundred
and three, entitled an act to allow the board of supervisors of the county
of Campbell to purchase the Lynchburg and Campbell courthouse turn-
pike, and to operate the same as a turnpike, or in its discretion convert
it into a public road, be, and the same hereby is, amended and re-enacted

. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisor of Campbell county be, and it hereby is, authorized and
empowered in its discretion to purchase or otherwise legally acquire, on
ehalf of said county, that certain road within said county known as the
Lynchburg and Campbell courthouse turnpike and all franchises. and
appurtenances thereto belonging, and said board is authorized and em-
powered to operate said road as a turnpike, or, in its discretion, to estab-
lish the same as a pubhie road, to be kept in order out of the county levy
and not out of the road fund of the respective districts through which
the said road passes.
This act shall be in force from its passage.
