Chap. 222.—An ACT to authorize and direct the auditor of public aeccou
pay to James E. Phillips, his heirs, assigns, or personal representative
sum of $5,000 out of any money in the treasury of the Commonwealth o
ginia, not otherwise appropriated, for material furnished and work done
the buildings at the University of Virginia.

Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
tor of public acounts be, and he is hereby, authorized and dircet
pay to James E. Phillips, his heirs, assigns, or personal representa

ther directed to take a proper receipt from said Phillips, or his
perly authorized agent, for the sum so paid, which said receipt
express that the said sum of five thousand dollars shall be, and |
ecived, in full payment and discharge of any and all claims on the

sitv of Virginia, or the State of Virginia, for material furnished
work done upon the buildings at the University of Virginia.
