Chap. 272.—An ACT for the relief of Joseph J. Pleasants.

f° 1. Beit enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
, the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars be and the same is
hereby appropriated, out of any money in the public treasury
not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of paying the
claim of Joseph 3 Pleasants, for services rendered in inves-
tigating titles, surveying and making map of the public pro-
perty in the city of Richmond, under instructions from. the
committee on public institutions; and that the auditor of
public accounts be and he is hereby authorized and required
to issue his warrant upon the treasury in favor of Joseph J.
Pleasants for the said amount of money. .
t 2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
