Chap. 261.—An ACT to compensate John Freeman for services as Super-
intendent of Weights and Measures. :
Passed February 27, 1867.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the audi-
tor of public accounts be authorized and directed to issue
his warrant on the treasury, payable out of any money therein
not otherwise appropriated, in favor of John Freeman, for
the sum of one hundred and twenty-six dollars and fifty
cents, the same being for his services and expenses as super-
intendent of weights and measures, from the twenty-eighth
of August, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, to the first of
February, eighteen hundred and. sixty-seven.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
