Chap. 284.—An ACT to authorize the board of supervisors of Wythe county
to levy a tax upon dogs.

Approved February 16, 1901.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the board
of supervisors of Wythe county be, and they are, hereby authorized and
instructed in their discretion to levy a tax upon any and all dogs in said
county.

2. Such tax shall not exceed one dollar per head for each male dog,
and shall not exceed two dollars per head for each female dog.

3. The revenues derived from such tax shall go into the county road
fund.

4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
