Chap. 215.—An ACT to protect the Mongolian and the cross between the Mon-
golian and the English pheasant in the county of Loudoun.
Approved February 15, 1901.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That it shall be
unlawful to take or destroy the eggs of, or to kill or capture, sell or offer
for sale, or to buy any Mongolian, or cross between the English and Mon-
golian pheasant in the county of Loudoun.
2. The possession, except for brecding purposes, of any Mongolian, or
cross between the English and Mongolian pheasant. whether dead or
alive, by any person, shall be prima facie evidence that such person has
violated this law.
3. Any person convicted of violating this law shall be fined not less
than ten ($10) dollars, and five ($5) dollars in addition shall be taxed,
as a part of the costs, which said five dollars shall go to the informer,
