Chap. 112.—An ACT to authorize J. W. Hurley to erect a breakwater in the
Rappahannock river, in the county of Middlesex.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That J. W.
Inrlev, of Middlesex county, be, and he is, hereby authorized and per-
nitted to erect a breakwater in the Rappahannock river, off the sand bar
etween the mouth of Urhanna creek and the wharf of the Weem’s line,
ear Robinson’s ereck: provided, the erection of said breakwater does
ot interfere with the vested rights of any other person: and, provided
urther, that such breakwater shall not obstruct or impair free naviga-
ion in said river, and also, that this act shall be subject to amendment,
nodification, or repeal at the pleasure of the general assembly,
