Chap. 100.—An ACT to amend and re-enact section 13 of an act entitled an
act to provide for the working and keeping in repair, opening and discon-
tinuing the public roads in the county of Brunswick, and for the building
and keeping in repair the bridges in said county, approved February 20,
1900.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That section
thirteen of an act entitled an act to provide for the working and keep-
ing in repair, opening and discontinuing the public roads in the county
of Brunsw ick, and for the building and keeping in repair the bridges
in saidcounty, approved February twentieth, nineteen hundred, be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
§ 13. For the purpose of defraying the expenses incurred by the super-
intendents in performing the duties prescribed in this act, the board of
supervisors of said county shall, from time to time, issue and deliver
to the said superintendents warrants upon the treasurer of said county,
payable out of the district road tax of their respective districts for such
sums of money as may be necessary, not to exceed five hundred dollars
at one time.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
