Chap. 134.—An ACT amending and re-enacting the 5th section of an act
entitled an act to Charter the Richmond and Peninsula Railway Com-
pany, passed February 27, 1866.
- Passed January 30, 1867.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
the fifth section of an act entitled an act to charter the
Richmond and Peninsula railway company, passed February
twenty-seventh, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, be and the
same is hereby amended and re-enacted, so that, with the
amendments, the said fifth section. shall read as follows, to
wit:
“§5. The said road shall be completed, equipped and put
in use within two years from and after the twenty-seventh
day of February, in the year one thousand eight hundred
and sixty-seven; and if not completed, the said company
shall be deprived of all the privileges conferred by this act,
and any other persons-or company who will comply with it,
shall be entitled to and receive them.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. ‘
