1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Thomas
Hume, Joseph K. Plunkit, George W. Grice, John Linn,
seorge M. Bain, Jr., and their associates, shall be and the
ame are hereby constituted a body politic and corporate,
inder the name and style of The Norinal Music School As-
ociation of the City of Portsmouth; and by that name and
tyle shall be subject to all the rules, regulations and restric-
ions imposed, and invested with all the rights, powers and
rivileges conferred by chapters fifty-six and fifty-seven of
he Code, (edition of eighteen hundred and sixty), and a
consistent with this act.

Z. ihat the said corporation may hold property, real and
personal, to the value of ten thousand dollars.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage, and shall be
subject to amendment, modification or repeal, at the pleasure
of the general assembly.
