Chap. 99.—An ACT establishing the Name of the Western Lunatic
Asvlum.
Passed December 18, 1805.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That an act
passed the twenty-sixth of March, eighteen hundred and
sixty-one, entitled an act changing the’ names of the lunatic
asylums, so tar as the same concerns the lunatic asylum at
Staunton, be and the same is hereby repealed.
2. The directors of the said asylum at Staunton shall con-
tinue to be a corporation, by the name of The Western, Lu-
natic Asylum.
3. That all proceedings of said directors, since they were
organized under their appointment by the present governor
of Virginia, be and the same are hereby ratified.
4. This act shall be in force from its passage.
