Chap. 75.—An ACT to provide for ineluding the Value of Stamps in the
Taxation of Costs.

Passed February 21, 1866.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That in all legal
roceedings, in which stamps are required by the laws of the
nited States, the value of such stamps shall be deemed part
of the costs, and taxed accordingly.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
