Chap. 74.—An ACT to prevent the Abatement of Process in certain cases.
Passed February 21, 1866.
1, Be it enacted by the general assembly, That if at any
time before the passage of the act repealing the act of May
fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, entitled an act
prescribing an oath in certain cases, any civil process was
sued out in any court of record, or before a justice of the
peace, without a compliance with the provisions of said act
of May fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, such pro-
cess shall not be abated or dismissed for that cause, but shall
be held to be as valid in all respects as if the provisions of
said act had been complied with.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
