L. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section five of chapter two hundred and nine of the Code of
eighteen hundred and sixty be amended and re-enacted so as
to read as follows:
“$5. When, in any case within this chapter, a writ of
error lies from a cirenit court, it may, in the vacation of such
court, be awarded by any circuit judge; and when it lies
from the court of appeals, it may, in the vacation of said
court, be awarded by any judge thereof.”
2. This act shali be in force from its passave.
