Chap. 439.—An ACT empowering the judge of the circuit court of Russell
county to order certain causes to be properly indexed by the clerk thereof.

Approved February 26, 1896.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That the
udge of the circuit court of the county of Russell be, and he is
nereby, empowered to order the clerk of said court to have any or all
»f the causes, both at law and equity, which were determined prior
-o the year eighteen hundred and eighty-four in said court, properly
indexed, using Kilgore’s bar reference docket for same, which shall
be filed as other determined causes in said court, and the said clerk
shall be paid for such services out of the county fundsof said county
guch sum as the board of supervisors of said county may appropriate.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
