Chap. 45.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the 12th section of chapter 77
of the Code of 1860.
Passed February 28, 1866.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly of Virginia, That
section twelve of chapter seventy-seven of the Code be
amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
“§ 12. Such trustees shall not take or hold, at any one
time, more than two acres of land in an incorporated town,
nor more than seventy-five acres out of such town.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
