Chap. 37.—An ACT to amend and re-enact the 10th section of chapter 14
of the Code,
Parsed January 16, 1560.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the nine-
teenth section of chapter fourteen of the Code of Virginia
(eighteen hundred and sixty), be amended and re- -enacted 80
as to read as follows:
“$19. All the annual salarics mentioned in the preceding
sections shall be paid out of the treasury monthly, after being
duly audited. All other allowances, and the mileage men-
tioned in the preceding sections, shall in general be payabl
when the services and travel shall have been performed. Bu
members of the general assembly and others travelling to th
seat of government, who would be entitled to mileage fo
travelling home, may receive the mileage last mentioned be
one re going home.”
