Chap. 340.—An ACT for the relief of Dempsey Nash, Clerk elect of the
Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and James J. Henritzie, Llerk
elect of the Circuit Court of Russell County.
Parsed February 27, 1866.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That it shall be
lawful for Dempsey Nash, clerk elect of the circuit court of
the city of Portsmouth, and James J. Henritzie, clerk elect
of the circuit court of Russell county (they having failed to
qualify within the time prescribed by law), to take the oath
of office, and give the bond required by law, betore some
judge of the circuit court+in vacation.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage. -
