Chap. 316.—An ACT to incorporate the Farmers and Miners Savings
Bank of Alleghany, at Covington.
Passed February 23, 1866.
1: Be it enacted by the general assembly, That Andrew
Fudge, John H. Oliver, Joseph Lively, William Scott and
William Skeen, and such other persons as may hereafter be
associated with them, be and they are hereby made a body
politic and corporate, by the name and style of The Farmers
and Miners Savings Bank of Alleghany, at Covington; and
by that name, are made subject to, and to have the benefit of
all the provisions of the fifty-ninth chapter of the Code of
Virginia (edition of eighteen hundred and sixty), and all
other provisions of law which may be. applicable to such
corporations.
2. The capital stock of said bank shall not be less than
five thousand dollars nor more than two hundred thousand
dollars.
8. This act shall be in force from ‘its passage.
