Chap. 314.—An ACT to incorporate the Planters Savings Bank of
Farmville.
Passed February 21, 1866.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That William
T. Rice, P. H. Jackson, H. E. Warren, N. Cobb, William G.
Venable, and such others as may be associated with them,
shall be and they are hereby made and constituted a body
politic and corporate, under the name and style of The
Planters Savings Bank; andeby this name, shall be invested
with all the powers, rights, privileges and immunities confer-
red, and made subject to all the rules, regulations and restric-
tions imposed by the fifty-ninth chapter of the Code of Vir-
ginia, and any other provisions of said Code especially
applicable to savings banks, and the act passed March thir-
teenth, eighteen hundred and fifty-eight, entitled an act to
amend the fourth section of chapter fitty-nine of the Code of
Virginia.
2. The capital stock of said bank shall not exceed fifty
thousand dollars.
3. This act shall be in force from its passage; subject to
modification, amendment or repcal, at the pleasure of the
general assembly. :
