Chap. 262.—An ACT to enable the James River Manufacturing Company
to borrow Money.
Paseed February 10, 196.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the James
river manufacturing company be and the same is hereby au-
thorized to borrow, on the security of its property, if re-
quired, money to an amount not exceeding fifty thousand
dollars, at such rate of interest as may be agreed upon, with-
out regard to the rate now prescribed by law, or the provi-
sions of the thirty-fourth section of chapter fifty-seven of the
Code of Virginia.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
