Chap. 252.—An ACT to amend the Charter of the Midlothian Coal Mining
Company,

Passed February 10, 1566.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the third
section of the act passed January twenty-third, eighteen
hundred and thirty-five, entitled an act to incorporate the
Midlothian coal mining company, be so amended as to read
as follows: a
“$3. The said company shall be authorized to create and
sell new stock to the amount of two hundred thousand dol-
lars, 50 a8 to increase the whole capital stock to the sum of
five hundred thousand dollars; and in addition to the land
now possessed by said company, it may acquire and hold, for
mining purposes, s0 much more as will increase the entire
quantity to not more than five thousand acres.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
