Chap. 233.—An ACT to amend tbe Sa section of an act enutled an act to
incorporate the Chesterfieid Gas-coal Mining Company. passed Decem-
ber 2]. 1865.
Passed March 2, 1866.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the third
section of an act entitled an act to incorporate the Chester-
field gas-coal mining company, passed December twenty-first.
eighteen hundred and sixty-five, be amended and re-enacted
so as to read as follows:
“§ 3. It shall be lawful for said company to construct
railroads from their lands, to connect with other railroads
that may consent to said connection, or to make an Indepen-
dent road to any point on James river, not exceeding twenty-
five miles: provided they do not invade the lands of others
without their consent.”
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
