Chap. 213.—An ACT to authorize the Riehmond and Danville: Railroad
Company to lease, hot aud operate the Piedmont Railroad,
Passed February 15, 1806,
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the Lich-
mond and Danville railroad company be and they are hereby
authorized, throngh the president and board of directors
thereof, or otherwise, to contract with the Piedmont railroad
company for the acquisition, by lease or otherwise, of the
Piedmont railroad, its franchises and property, and to hold,
use and enjoy the same in like manner as the proper fran-
chises and property of the Richmond and Danville railroad
company are held, used and enjoyed.
2, This act shall be in force from its passaze.
