Chap. 210.—An ACT to inercase the Capital Stock of the Richmond,
Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad Company.
Passed December 13, 1863.
1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the Rich-
mond, Fredericksburg and Potomac railroad company be and
they are hereby authorized to increase the capital stock of
the company to such extent a3 may be. requisite to enable
them to liquidate all arrears of debts, interest and dividends
of the company, and to make such portion of the said in-
creased capital stock as they may deem advisable, a guaran-
teed stock, on which dividends of not exceeding seven per
centum per annuin may be guaranteed to be paid seimian-
nually: provided, that such increase of the capital stock of
the company shall not exceed in the aggregate the sum of
one million of dollars.
2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
