Chap. 163.—An ACT conferring Authority upon the Councils of the Cit,
of Norfolk in relation to the Streets of said City.

Passed January 20, 1866.

1. Be it enacted by the general assembly, That the coun
cils of the ‘city of Norfolk shall be and they are hereb.
empowered to make such use of the ends of the street
of said city running to tide water, as they may deem neces
sary for the public interests.

2. This act shall be in force from its passage.
